Jill AND Mary

Jillian Hennessy, born on 1968 on November 25, and is known for being a talented Canadian musician, actor and music producer. Her contributions to American TV are well-known. The show has been highly praised for her stellar performance on the American television series Law & Order in which she played Claire Kincaid as a prosecutor for three seasons, and Crossing Jordan, wherein she portrayed Jordan Cavanaugh the main character for six seasons. She also put her acting abilities displayed in the movies RoboCop 3 Most Wanted as well as Chutney Popcorn & The Acting Class. In these independent films, she flexed both her co-directing and writing muscles. Hennessy began her acting career as an actress in Dead Ringers with her sister. In the year 1990, she made an appearance on Broadway in the role of Buddy: The Buddy Holly Story. Then, she moved into sci-fi and played her first role as Dr. Marie Lazarus (RoboCop 3) in 1993. In the following year she made her most famous break when she joined NBC's hit show Law & Order to play the assistant district attorney Claire Kincaid. Parker received the Tony Award in 2001 for Best Actress, for her part as Proof on Broadway.
