Whitney Houston and Dana Bash

Whitney Elizabeth Houston is the youngest of four children born in Newark the state of New Jersey, on August 9 in 1963. The parents of Whitney are gospel singers Cissy Houston - born Emily Lee Drinkard - and John Russell Houston Jr. Whitney's cousin Dionne warwick was also a singing sensation. She began singing in the choir at her church The New Hope Baptist Church in Newark as a young child and at 15 was singing backing vocals professionally with their mother in Chaka Khans 1978 hit Im Every Woman. In 1981, she worked as a fashion model and appeared on the Seventeen album cover. She also performed backing vocals to Lou Rawls and Jermaine. In 1983 in 1983, Material, the New York City funk-rock band Material employed her as the band's main vocalist. The band's quality is that was what attracted her to the big record label Arista. Whitney Houston became the top-selling debut album for a brand new artist in 1985. A number of hit singles, such as The Greatest Love of All, Saving My Love For You How Will I Know You Give Good Love and The Most Beautiful Love of All were released from the album, setting the stage for her to beat the Beatles with seven consecutive US top 10s. The album itself sold three million copies in the first year of its release in US and then went on to sell 25 million worldwide winning it the very first one of six Grammys. Its Whitney 1987 record, with Where Do Broken Hearts and I Wanna Dance With Somebody as hits, helped build upon the success she had achieved. But it came with The Bodyguard 1992 which cemented her reputation as one the most well-known artists in the world. Although her movie performance and soundtrack weren't well received however, the Dolly Parton cover I Will Always Love You as well as its accompanying album dominated the charts for singles and albums around the globe for months. They sold 44 millions copies. It was also in 1993 when she got married Bobby Brown, an ex-New Edition artist with whom she bore her sole daughter Bobbi Kristina Brown. Around this time when her well-documented usage of drugs began. By 1996 she was a daily drug user.

Dana Bash also known as Dana Ruth Schwartz is an American anchor of a reporter as well as political reporter for CNN. She has produced a variety of weekend programs that the network airs, such as Evans & Novak Late Edition" and Inside Politics. Bash has also worked for other well-known networks in the recent past like NBC and CBS. Bash has been awarded numerous awards and honors. Elle magazine once listed her on their Women in Washington Power List. Many young journalists admire Bash for her incredible reporting and anchoring capabilities. She is also a loving mother of her son, despite being a graduate of George Washington University. She was married twice and is now single. Bash has a huge love for all of her fans. The American journalist is able to keep her followers informed about her day-to-day activities via social media platforms such as Instagram as well as Twitter.
